About Us

What do we offer?
Hammered Out Welding was developed to equip students seeking to have a career in the welding field.
  • We are focused on hands-on training and application of every topic that is taught!
  • Learn the welding processes in demand and be job ready in twelve weeks!
  • Build the confidence you need by taking our welding classes that are limited to six students per class! 

We are well versed in AWS, ASME, and ANSI standards that enables us to be a third party welding test facility for recruitment processes. We have a CWI on staff and are able to qualify/certify welders to Welding Procedure Specifications.
New schedule starting January 2027.
Classes are offered on Monday and Tuesday from 7a.m to 4p.m. and  on Wednesday and Thursday from 7a.m. to 4p.m. Lunch breaks are from 12p.m. to 1p.m. The duration of classes taught is a total of 192 hours and completed within twelve weeks!

Class instruction insight:
  • AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code is the backbone of classes taught in Level 1
  • ASME BPVC Sec IX and API 1104 are the backbone of classes taught in Level 2
  • Developing critical thinking skills is necessary for the fabricator 
  • Blueprints and welding symbols is how welders communicate
  • Fabrication is taught in addition to the welding processes
  • Rigging and safety principles including calculating load angle factor
  • Developing strong safety habits is having an awareness of your surroundings and others

1. In twelve weeks you will be taught the necessary skillsets to be successful in the welding field. Skillsets that would take an average of 3 to 5 years of working in the field with someone that is highly experienced and willing to train you!

2. Cost is $7,700.00 for Level 1, Foundation in Welding and $7,700.00 for Level 2 Pipe Welding. The cost includes personal protective equipment, tools required for fabrication, welding consumables, books, materials, and we do offer a payment plan that is affordable.
The cost of training is much less than other schools in the state of Texas.

3. You will be taught the correct angles (progression) in regards to the welding procedures which will support welder certification testing procedures.
Do not fall for the mistake of not being prepared for that weld test.
Most likely you will not get a second attempt to test for that entry-level welding opportunity.

4. Your instructor has over 35 years of working in the field, and is experienced with structural and pipe procedures.
Teaching from experience is key to having insight of means and methods of welding practices and procedures.

5. Student to instructor ratio will not exceed 6:1 to allow instructor to dedicate more one-on-one instruction.
Personal attention is given to every student to support them with developing skills to help them excel when tested by employers. Smaller class size equals more time for the instructor to work with you individually!

We offer job placement assistance.
We will assist you by helping you with your resume, interviewing questions, educating you on what most employers need, informing you on who is hiring at the time you complete the program and provide training support after you complete the program.

Wages for entry-level welders and journey-level.
Students typically receive between $18 to $26.50 hour to start and after 5 years experience journey-level welders are between $30 to $52 an hour.

 Joaquin is the embodiment of a great educator. He has an everlasting thirst for knowledge. That thirst for knowledge is evident in his teaching.
